Message: My 94 V-6, auto, has no power when starting off. I have a steep drive and it almost stalls sometimes. It has a rattle in the engine that seems to be a bad timing chain Tentioner.
Could this be causing the loss of power by retarding the timing at start off? It seems to be bogging down in 2nd also under a load.
