Has anyone had any serious problems with using the 1.7 roller rockers due directly too the higher lift? Any long term wear and tear issues?

I noticed that i was able to stop using my 1.6 roller rockers almost immediatley, so those aren't wearing as much as they used to.

Well, all I was saying is that once i installed the 1.7 roller rockers, the 1.6 stamped factory rockers seemed to be getting almost no wear on them at all. I assume that with the reduced wear that the 1.6 rockers are now experiencing, they will last a lot longer than if they were experiencing the full stress. So at least those will last longer.
As for the rest of the engine, I'm not sure how long everything else will last.

Actually, what I mean to say is that now that the 1.6 rockers are sitting on the shelf, they are pretty much gonna outlast every other component on that engine.
See what I'm sayin?
