Message: The problem with the math is a 1hp motor would make the same amount of power as a 746W electric motor. not that a 746W electric would add 1 hp to a gas engine. You need to create boost and use a fan that can move enough air to increase the atmospheric preasure inside the intake, it doesn't matter what it takes to run the fan.
