I cut out the holes because I am going to mount fog/driving lights there a little ways down the road. I also plan on getting a safari bar, powdercoating it, and mounting some 6" lights on the bar. It will help on those dark roads and give a little meaner look to the truck in my opinion. I'm BIG on visibility and anything I can do to increase that visibility is a worthwhile mod to me. I was looking at HID conversion for the headlamps and using the 6"-ers as the 'high' beams. I had HID conversion bulbs in my last car and they really do help. Now that the kits aren't 1200 bucks it's a little more feasible.

Hehe.. sorry bout the popups Canucker....
Mikey: The truck is stock height, no lift. The 31's came off a Durango 4x4 and some new tires (still 31's) will be going on in a few weeks. I like the way it looks (fills up the wheel wells and gives a more aggressive look) better than the stock 215/75-15's.
