what would be the best s/c for a 1997 dakota
5.2, auto, 2wd. its stock besides dual
flowmasters. it would be used as a daily drive
and some street racing. thanks

I recomend a vortech over the others. Powerdyne works well but you have to buy a btm, 24# injectors and a aux pulley before it works properly. Vortech has done more research and there kit is complete. Just my opinion. I did own a powerdyne.

I love my Powerdyne! But if I had to get another I would go for the Vortech. However if you use the Powerdyne XB-1A charger it's good for 18psi.
As for the 24# injectors, I did that because my FMU died and I didn't want to rely on it. Not to mentioned the new set is tuned from FMS. Other guys that have the FMU setup run just fine.
All I can say is do your research.
