Message: What torque converter are you running?
What other transmission mods do you have?
What fluid are you using? (brand and type)
Did you install a larger cooler?

Message: You realy need to rework the valve body and switch to synthetics. I would also change the fluid frequently. You might want to invest in a rebuild kit right now just to have around. I would contact level 10 and tell them your plans. They can put a kit together for you based on your needs. Then when your trany fails you already have everything you need. Super charger are not that much harder on transmissions. The why you drive it will have a greater bearing on life span. Turbo chargers are much harder on a automatic transmission's and nitrous oxide is the hardest on automatics. The most damage comes from hard hole shots. Most transmissions can handle the additional power once the car/truck is moveing and in 3 gear or higher.

Message: Sandman ( or anybody ), what do you mean by re-work the valvebody ? I have a Trans-Go ready to install & a Mopar 166K (2300rpm)converter. Would that be sufficient ? And how about a trans-cooler? Are they worth it ?
I got the 2.02 heads , cam , M1 2bbl ,etc... coming soon.
Thank you.

Message: big_torque,
If you have purchased a modified transmission and a 2,300 r.p.m. torque converter you should be good to go.
Modifying the valve body (for firmer and quicker shifts) is not usually necessary in aftermarket performance transmissions because it is usually already included in the transmission package.
I would scrap the internal cooler in the radiator and replace it with the largest external cooler that will fit you truck.
I had one leak one time and fill my transmission full of engine coolant and that cost me a bundle to fix.
I would also recommend for your application the AMSOIL SuperShift Synthetic ATF.
