Subject: 0-60 times? FAST?!?

Hey, recently I just rode in one of my friend Subaru Impreza 2.5Rs, it seemed pretty fast and it was a chick drivin! It was a quick little machine. I was wondering what are your 0-60 times, the Impreza claims 5-6 seconds. Im torn between a 1998 Dodge Dakota sport with the 5.2 V8, or the Subaru 2.5rs. I dont know which one to buy!! I would love the truck if it was quick but still good in snow, meaning not dropped, no slicks, or anything like that. Thanks for everyone input!

it's all in what your your looking for, that Sub should be better in the snow than a 2wd dakota. but if you need to haul or tow anything somewhat heavy, what are you going to do with a Sub?
it all depends on what your uses are. Think about that.

Let me put it to you this way...if you can get 0-60 in 6 seconds in your Dak Spert just think after your done racing you can goto your buddies apt and help him move his furniture haha...sports car (which I'm assuming thats what an Impreza is) you can't.

The impreza 2.5 R's will not do a 5 or 6 second 0-60. On a hard launch they will do low 7 seconds and a soft launch will land you high 8's. Unless he has a turbo on that bad boy I can bet 5's are out of the question.

The WRX does 0-60 in 5.4, the 2.5RS does it in 8.3
A 4.7+5 speed Quad Cab does it in 7.7
