dudes and duddettes,
i popped my hood the other day to check the vitals for my DAK and low and behold i found that the Mopar Cold Air Intake freakin BROKE!! it broke where the hat is at!!! what can i do now? what brand is better? any help is cool!!

Scotty, is it broken around the bolt at the top? This is the mopar intake made by K&N, right? If so, it is a common problem with a lot of the intakes they sold last year, and you can get a new one no problem.

Contact Fred Ridge (Tech Support) at K&N Eng. (909) 826-4000 and explain to him your situation about the intake tube. He will send you a new intake tube after you fax him a copy of your invoice (proof of purchase).

I just noticed my Mopar intake tube is broken
too! I know this product is made by K&N but
will they take care of this or do I have to deal
with Dogde(god I hope not). Has anyone else
had this problem with the Mopar product and
did it get resolved? I hope everyone is right
and K&N or Mopar will stand by their product.

Yea, I noticed my homebrew had broken too! Do you think Home Depot will stand by their sewer pipe?-Just kidding
remember: If you have sewer pipe and PVC on your intake..............you might be a redneck!
