Subject: POWER issue - any input IP: Logged
Message: I have installed an R/T TB, Cold air intake, Flowmaster 40 (existing piping, just changed the muffler) and a Jet stage II. -2000 3.9 auto-
I heard on here all the time that people could EASILY break loose the tires with these mods and I CAN'T! Maybe in a turn but not sitting still at a red light.
My RPMs will not go above around 3500 unless I take it out of overdrive, and it feels like that tranny does not wanna downshift. If I am going 45 and floor it, it'll just increase slowly in RPMs never downshifting to 3rd.
I thought the Jet chip would help my shift points but I don't think it did.
Any help/advice would be appreciated. (and I know the Jet II are supposed to be crap, i'm just trying it out)

Message: If your not downshifting, check the TV cable adjustment as following...
http://www.speedtweaks.net/Tips_Tricks.htm#TVCable
Also look into adjusting the TPS and relocating the IAT, as shown on that page as well. Might help...
