I saw a photo of some Dakota with a V-10 engine that had been photo-shopped into the engine bay. The guy did such a good job of photo-shopping the motor into the picture that i believe it's real. Never mind that the alleged V-10 Dakota owner has never been identified. Nevermind that after he "dropped" a V-10 into his truck, he couldn't even afford better wheels than those ugly 15x8's....
I still blindly believe that this engine swap is possible and cheap!! Does anyone have the link to that fake photo so I can stare at it and convince myself that it doesn't really cost over $125,000 to actually create this truck?? Please post the link!!

I am posting this and faking the name of the person I am tired of hearing from. So i have stolen their screen name and made some ridiculous post with a picture of a man stretching his rectum out to about 6" wide with both hands. I went to a really sketchy website to find this awful picture. I hope that the person who's name I stole will get blamed for this heinous (anus) photo!!

Alex, lots of people come to this website for information. You seem to knwo a lot of information, but a lot of the time you just make a smart-ass comment which is funny but not really helpful. We hate it when you do that because we depend on this website and only this website for answers. We also have a tendency to believe everything anybody posts and will take you completely at your word.
We have no sense of humor when it comes to questions that we post and we don't want to run a search first. We also read only the very last response to the post. We hardly ever follow the thread and figure out that a lot of the time you are just joking. Then we take the time to write a post complaining about smart-ass responses.
We also refuse to use Google to find out some basic things about the subject matter at hand.
Your sarcasm is way over our heads!!

I have a friend who says his Jetta Turbo 1.8 is faster than my 4.7 Quad Cab with mud tires and a K&N filter. I've been braggin to him that I will whip his ass. But now he has turned the tables on me and told me to meet him at the track. I've never been to the drag strip and don't know the staging beams from a time slip.
Who do you think will win?

You can get 50 extra horsepower by switching to Autolite 3923s!
You can get another 50 extra horsepower by going to a brass cap and rotor.
There's another 50 extra horsepower if you go with a Robert Shaw 180 thermostat.
I heard that the K&N FIPK for the 4.7 will add 50 extra horsepower!
I put a Tornado doomaflachy on my truck and got an extra 10 miles to the gallon!
I put a throttle body spacer on my truck and it's way faster now. At least 10 more hp!
I heard that a loud muffler makes your engine faster.
I took the placebo test at my school and I passed because the sugar pills made me smarter.

I have read all kinds of magazine articles in Motor Trend and they all say that the 5.9 has more torque than the 4.7 motor. There are decades of aftermarket improvements for these motors (none of which i have installed) and therefore it is always faster than your puny brand new 4.7 motor in every race at every location without a doubt.
As long as both vehicles are stock.
And the 4.7 has to be a club cab automatic with the 3.21 open rear axle.
And the 5.9 has to have a better driver.

I have 4000 miles left on warranty and I am scared to do ANYTHING that would even remotely cause me to lose that warranty. But I want to beef up my truck to impress my friends and family. I was thinking in the neighborhood of 350 hp..... what can I do that will give me that power but won't be obvious to the dealer. Because I ALWAYS go to the dealer to get ALL my maintenance done!
Any suggestions???

I totally installed this bitchin new exhaust with true dual pipes that are 4" diameter all the way back. Just before the axle, the twin pipes split again into 5" quad pipes. Each of the four pipes has 6" chrome tips on them.
Why does my truck feel like it slowed down?
I think I lost too much back pressure??
