 Subject: Help!!! Computer Reset Prob.

I just had the battery disconnected in my 99 Dakota to reset the computer after I just had work done on the trans (shift kit and torque converter). It is running like crap right now, bearly idelling. Nothing else was touched under the hood except the battery. Almost sounds like it wants to die. Do any of you know what the prob could be? Do I just need to let it run to get the memory back? Or is there a much greater prob?

It sounds like your reset worked!! My truck will act the same way for a while (25-50 miles)after reseting the PCM, so your problem should clear up.
