BlkDak, Just so you know, you really don't have to spend that kind of money for a tube filter and heat shield. I built my entire kit for $40 using a K&N air filter and Black PVC from Home Depot. I would honestly say that there should be no difference. Plus the Pvc does not conduct the heat from the engine like the aluminum one they are selling does. If you take out the Rubber Shield next to the radiator you will have free flowing cold air into the engine bay. ...just a suggestion. Oh you can also check out ebay. They auction off homemade intakes just like mine all of the time for around $40 or so.

I paid 55 for the ricer type filter that has a opening in the front. 10 for the mendrel bent 3" pipe. 15 for the piece of silcone to couple the tube and the air hat that I paid 45 for. I know that is 125 bucks but the only reason it got that high is because I have a 94. Mine came with that old round type of air cleaner. Take some time to get your own parts and make your own.

I was originally going to get the 360AirIntake, but I got tired of waiting for them to let me know if it would fit a 3.9 V6. So, I went with the Quick D Intake and I'm very happy. I put it on shortly after I installed my modified V8 TB and wow! FUN! I love the sound it makes when I hit the gas. =)

Lesley...Yeah, Tony's a really nice guy. I live about 30 minutes away from him, so he installed it in 5 minutes for me. I actually bought it for $120 because he didn't have to ship it. I always go to him first before I make any mods on my truck. I think 360airintakez over prices their intakes...
