I have had a vortex exhuast on my 4.7 extended cab for about a year and a 1/2 now.. my friend also put one on his 2000 chevy silverado. I am very impressed with this muffler. .i have duals with chrome tips coming out the back.. the sound is really deep... you will like it.. the muffler seemed to be of good quality (casing was heavy weight mat'l).. ..not too lound when cruising, but wehn you step on it. it will turn heads......

Hey Loud4.7 Is the noise heard from inside the cab at all? or all out the tailpipe? How would you reccomend it compared to a Gibson, Borla or a flowmaster??

You can definately hear the noise from inside the cab.. it is a really mellow nooise though.. what is very impressive it the noise when you really rev it ... i have not heard a borla or flowmaster on the 4.7, but my guess is that it woudl be compatible , or more than likely, louder.. .. but not obnoxious... i was very impressed......

As I can tell by your name, You like your 4.7 loud and powerful, maybe I'll consider that exhaust besides the Gibson when I get my truck..Thanks for your help. Do they have a website up so that I can look at their products??

Well if thats the case I'll have to get one for sure. I've never heard a truck with a vortex exhuast before, so I was really intrested in finding out what it's like.
