Subject: Power Slots did the trick! IP: Logged
Message: Just a plug for the Power Slots and a thank you to this board and especially Derrick aka Swingman for excellent advice:
Installed them last night, and presto no more brake pulse! The calipers and pads were a breeze to remove, it was taking off the old rotors that was a b!tch! They seized up against the bearing hub. Soaked them with WD-40 and 1/2 hour later I could pry them off. Just 2 winters up here and the rust on the old rotors were unbelievable.
I'm thinking of epoxy painting the calipers and drums, for "corrosion protection"... What do you guys think? To "ricer" or not to "ricer"... Nice blue showing through the R/T's to match up with the intense blue Dak QC?
Went with Raybestos PG Plus for the pads. Just have to brake them in slowly and I'm a happy camper.

Message: Pending on your look.. I feel that painting "Anything" located behind the wheels, takes away the focus of the wheel it self!
It does look good (on the calipers), don't get me wrong.. but I think if you paint anything else to get rid of the "rust look" I'd just go with black.
~Looks clean and the will make your wheels stand out!~

Message: A while back, I found a used some paint called "cast blast". Worked great on rotors, gives you a painted surface that still looks like a new cast finish.
