Message: i'm curious what the final design will look like myself. I own a 1970 GTO and would love to see the return of the GOAT, but I am a bit apprehensive about this Holden being the platform. Hope they don't ruin the car by trying to push somehing out just to p/u the lost Camero/ Firebird buyers. At least its going to be RWD w/ a v8; good start. Just my .02

Message: Yeah, its a start. What would be cool would be 3 two barrels sitting on top and Ram Air.
Goats are cool !!

Message: The GTO's were before my time, but not by much. I always thought that the 69 were an awesome design...

Message: I'm a *BIG* Pontiac fan (have owned many Trans Ams.. and still own a super-low-mileage 1979 T/A with the last of the T/A-6.6 (W72) Pontiac 400s mated to a good old-fashioned Hurst-shifted Borg Warner Super T-10 four-speed).
My only hope is that they make it look like a GTO... and not like a pumped up Chevy Cavalier (which is what the Holden looks like!)
Throw dual Ram Air hood scoops on it and a hood tach... give it the classic Ponitac split grill and offer it in eye-popping Carousel Red (the classic orange that the Judges came in) and they might have a winner.
Here's to hopin' Pontiac gets it right this time (and that they've taken the people who designed the Aztec out to the wood shed and gave them a sound whoopin'!) :-)
