Just looking around for wheels before I get my Dakota, I recently read on here the RT wheels are somewhat heavy fellas, can anyone tell me bout how much they weigh? With or Without tire weight, either answer I find helpful, and also, are there any other good wheel sites for dakotas? Most of the wheel sites I find seem to be serving the import crowd a bit more..

Also, my truck(when I get it) is gonna be pretty weighed down with audio equipment since I'll be doin competition, but I REALLY like the R/T wheels, anyone know if there are any replicas made that are a lot lighter than the real ones?

The weight of the RT wheels is no big deal, not that much heavier than the 15x8 its the tires that weigh more because of the extra rubber used to give the sidewall on the 17 inch tires more stoutness. I have the Rt wheels on my 2k dak 4.7 auto, and love em. GO FOR IT! You will be glad you did.
