Who wants an F&B?? Being that I work with Bruce on these TBs... I have to say, they are more than just a pretty piece. The work that went into designing, testing these units FAR exceeds the price you pay for admission. I do assembly work, and can say first hand they are top notch. F&B TBs come with a 30 day return policy. F&Bs are run by some of the quickest 4.7L trucks (Duner even without his Turbo!, and others). I can extend this LIMITED offer to people interested here (can only do this for a week or so-- don't want Bruce to get mad at me)-- I'll drop $20.00 off of my price $407-20= $387 shipped for a 68 or 70mm F&B. You've got 30 days to try it out, don't like it, you can return it for a full refund. We've had some issues with idling (mostly problems with powersteer pump, and slow computers-- when you run something that is far more efficient wise than stock, combined with a SLOW learning computer, it can take some time for it to straighten itself out.) This deal is through me, no one else... basically I'm not making any profit on it-- just trying to get the message out that the F&Bs are top notch. The tons I've built and shipped, prove it. If you're in So. Cal., , and not busy this Saturday, email me and I can give directions to my house-- Checkout the TBs, the head & cam install we are doing on 2- RTs! and might actually get so meet Bruce!

Told you he was quick. I think rtdkota may be a little more of a sailsman than me. I'm just a lowly hydrologist. Anyhow, I'm seriously considering the cams now so maybe in the future i'll be getting the 71mm. The F&B's do look like quality pieces but they are still almost $400.

Man I'm sorry, I love my Dakota and all, but if I had a job like that, I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time with a $25,000 or so truck (viper, hummer, etc...)
but hey to who's his own,

I'm pretty sure he uses a 71mm blade. He does other mods to it to make it into a 71 though.

Ok I got a reply, he told me he bores 71mm straight through, so there is no taper, like there would be with a ported TB.

I want to apologize for assuming that, Dan's work was just another pos TB and would rather by new. Understanding how he deals with the TB's you get the machined TB and then send him yours I think that is great. You still won't be without a ride. and you get to make sure it works.

I told him I'll buy on in about 3-4 weeks.
$200 is definitely worth it.

Exactly...no apology needed. I was extremely skeptical about how that whole deal worked. Fastman, Hughes, and fastdodge.com all do it. I just finally got fed up with drooling over F&B TB's knowing that I could never afford one so I got curious. Started e-mails with Dan yesterday and decided to go ahead and get one. Dan's pretty convincing of his product. Guess i'll find out next week. My co-workers think i'm nuts because those who have ridden in it already think it hauls enough ass...they just don't understand.

I posted these numbers almost 2 years ago. This is from the testing I did with Hughes Engines.
Hughes did some extensive work in developing their Modified TB's. I contacted Hughes about modifing my TB, and it got them started on the project of modifing the 4.7L TB's. I used both the 65 and the 68 mm TB from Hughes and they work'd ok. Then I tested a few for Bruce (69, 70 and 72), and hands down, there is no comparison between any type of stock casting TB (modified or unmod) to Bruce's TB's. Once you bolt an F&B tb on, you will never look back. The F&B TB is a well engineered product and I'd recommend it to anyone.

65mm TB (Stock) 400 cfm / 632cfm
65mm TB (Stage I) 450 cfm / 711cfm (12% increase)
68mm TB (Stock) 420 cfm / 664cfm (5% increase over stock 65mm)
68mm TB (Stage I) 481 cfm / 760cfm (17% over stock 65mm AND 13% over Stock
68mm)

Just found out that the 71mm TB is a made by order piece only. You send him your TB and he makes it a 71 then overnights it back to you. Looks like I will be going with the F&B still haven't decided between the 70 or 72 right now I am thinking 70.
