 Subject: Check Engine Code P0111 - IAT?

P0111 is Intake air (charge) temperature sensor voltage irrational performance.
I run both a JET Chip II, RS 180 T-Stat, and IAT Adjustor (at 2 o'clock setting.
NOTE: I've been running this combo for months, and also most of last year till it got cold, first time I've seen this code or anything similar.
Before resetting the PCM, what should I check? I could turn off the IAT Adjustor but the truck actually feels it runs better with both the IAT and chip, or a could power cycle (off/on) the IAT box...Note I did not turn the IAT box on while the truck was running.
I'll also ensure the chip is seated tight...anything else to check or look at that could cause this code?
Has anyone else also gotten this code and if so, what was your fix?
Figures this would happen today, I have a state inspection check tomorrow but I'm told since this is a 2001, it will only be a safety check -vs- emissions check.

A update:
On the way home from work, I turned off the IAT box, started up the truck and drove home.
I ensured the JET CHIP II was seated tight into the PCM, all connections/clamps tight on the TB, Z-Tube, and Filter, and reset the PCM.
Drove 35 miles so far with the IAT box off, no codes, and my gas mileage increased by 2MPG
Not enough data for trend analysis of problem (and consistent improved MPG w/out the IAT), more driving and data needs to be gathered...

I have gotten that code, it can be cured by increasing the temp setting on your iat.

So I should try increasing from my current 2 o'clock setting to 3 or 3:30?
BTW, believe I've seen posts with folks running 4 o'clock settings, how about pegged all the way down to the right?

I'm still not convinced the IAT box popped the current code, as the few months I ran it last year and since March of this year, no code till now, but perhaps the engine is fickle and 'temp'ermental...
Gonna stick with just the JET CHIP II and no IAT box for some more miles, if no code, then the IAT box goes on at 2 o'clock setting, if it pops a code, I'll use your recommended 10-12 setting
