 Subject: have you ever instaled a z-tube?

Anyone have a problem installing a Z-TUBE with the 9" Big Mouth on a 2002 cc. I heard the cruise control module gets in the way. If it does how do you relocate it? I have one on the way and I just want to know what I am getting into before I install it. Any help would be appreciated.

Shaggy,
The Z tube will come with a different sized bracket to relocate the cruise control so that it is out of the way. I have the z tube with the 9" big mouth, and the install is pretty easy. It will come with instructions. The hardest part is getting the old airhat box off. Good luck.

I just bent mine upward and took about 1/2" to 3/4" out of the top of the bracket. Worked great.

I did my install yesterday. Awesome! Better throtle, more power, deeper sound. I still need to know if I need to reset my PCM. Can anyone help?

Disconnect NEG battery terminal, turn key to the START position and hold for 15-20 seconds, turn key OFF and reconnect the battery.
