Subject: shift kits (Transgo/ Kenne Bell) IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone ever used the Kenne Bell shift kit? How do you like it, and how does it perform? How hard was the install? I'm looking into getting a shift kit for my truck, but I don't know if I want the KB or the Transgo. I have read that the Transgo is a pretty difficult installation. My transmission has 26,000 miles on it, with moderate WOT shifts, and some manual downshifting. Does anyone think that it is hurt, and I should wait until the warranty expires to do the shift kit? Thanks.
