Is anybody using aftermarket (Eurathane) bushings which are greasable? "Energy Suspension" doesn't seem to make them for '99 model, and Hotchkis lists just the complete swaybar set. Anyone know of other companys who would make them? The damn squeaking is driving me NUTS! Thanks for any replies.

have you tried greasing them? white high pressure
grease would be my first bet.
Maybe get a louder stereo

Sway bar bushings are pretty universal. Just need to find the diameter of your stock sway abr and go from there. Energy suspension has all the bushings needed to do the whole truck, but they don't have them listed as application specific. You just need to know what to order. The only bushing "kit" they seel for a Dakota is the control arm bushing set. I have them on mine and they seem to be working real good and despite what I've heard from others, they have yet to squeak. I have the Hotchkis kit on my truck so already have the greasable Energy Suspension Sway bar bushings.

Thanks for the info guys. I've tried greasing them myself, and it did help but something still squeaks under there. Now im not even sure which bushings are actually squeaking. Guess I'll just wait for it to get worse before I can pinpoint the problem.

Erik, try spraying some liquid wrench (or
something similar) on your leaf spring
bushings. Mine squeeked something fierce
until I lubed 'em up.

I got the energy suspension greaseable bushing for a 98 dakota for my 2000 dakota.the rear sway bar bushings are all 9/16 bushing sizes.the fronts you will have to measure.either 28 mm or 30 mm.the 2000 are 33 mm but i reamed them out a little to fit.I would highly recommend them.
