Jason, you will probably run into problems doing that. I don't think the tranny from the V-6 will handle the torque from the 360. All manufacturers use a smaller tranny (not so much external body but internal components) for their v-6's than their v-8's. I mean, it would be downright dumb to spend the extra money to put in the hd tranny's when they could save money, and still make more off of us consumers..

I love the RT image, but i categorically, refuse automatics. I test drove a Crysler 300 hopeing that they`d have some 5 or 6 manual, but they don`t. Well... too bad.
i have a Dak 4.7, CC, 2wd, 3.92 lsd w/255/65/15, lightly moded and its main diet consists of some friend`s RTs and some 6.0 liters sierras.

THERE IS NO SUBSTITUT FOR MANUAL AND REAR DRIVE

I was fed up with my auto in my rt, blew it up 3 times. Was about to order the 5 speed manual for it but realized it would cost 7500 by the time I finshed. So instead I got recommended to a performance tranny guy who built me a crazy tranny. This tranny kicks ass!! Chrips the tires from 1st to 3rd, pulls gears, actually holds gears (No more constant shifting) Awsome in traffic and better with no traffic.
