Message: Hi I am a happy owner of a '97 Dodge Dakota. I just recently purchased a new radio for my truck, however when I tried to install my new radio I have ran into a problem. The old radio has a wire which is essential in running my speakers, on the radio it is simply labeled (ant). I have no idea as to what this means and am unable to figure out how to hook it to my new radio. Any one who can help I would really appreciate it.

Message: Ant means,, for power antena. this wire is usually hot when the radio is turned on so the power antena will go straight to the moon.If you have not a power antena this lead can be used to turn on a amplifier also.
