That wouldnt even be funny if he COULD beat a Dak. The most pathetick thing ive seen on a car was a riced-out '91 Chevy Cavalier. On a bone stock car the window banner proudly said," You have just been Chevro-Laid." I got a laugh out of it and then whooped up on him in my dads V-6 Exploer. Hehe

I'm a big Dakota fan and a big jeep fan. To be fair to the jeep side the 98 5.9 limited did get better 1/4 mile times in most magazine tests then the Dakota R/T. And the Jeep 5.9 is not even available w/o full time 4 wheel drive which hurts more then it helps in a drag race. On the off road side of things, comparing stock to stock the worst Jeep will out perform the best Dakota on the trail as well. That said I'm trading my Grand Cherokee in and getting a 2WD Dakota, something to be said for 4 year old jeeps costing as much as a spanking new Dakota. The bang-for-the-buck factor is heavily in favor of the Dakota.

Yes to be fair the 5.9L Jeep 1998 my mom drives is fast as hell, but it drives like crap, get grrrreat gas mileage(sarcasm) 11mpg-14mpg. Has to take premium, and has more body roll than a 78 continental. But it goes like hell of road, but she takes it to the grocery store. I like my 4.7L Dak better ovverall.
