I have a 5.2 97, and it is the same for the 3.9 i think to and the 5.9. All i bought is some Carb cleaner the cheep spray can at the O'rilys in my town and also got a gasket, a totel of like 7 bucks. Could have cost more it i bought the expencive carb cleaner but the cheep stuff worked just a good. then all you need is some rachents and Torx 20 driver and you got it. There are some directions at SpeetTweaks.net. and there ok. But really the only thing is just take your time. Dont drop anything in your Intake manafold or engen.

Remove the TB and the sensors and then cleaning can go on, clean everythign inside and out, I dont think it maters. But i like the shiny silver look so i cleaned the hole thing. spray a little with the carb cleaner and use a towel and scrub the black, stuff off, the hole thing sould in the end be shiny.

The most confusing thing is taking off the throtel cabels. They just clip off dont break the plastic peices. remove the bults then the cables. but took me an hour and was well worth it. the stuff thet came out, i dont want that in my engen! if you want more help e mail me at pepe657@hotmail.com. Realy i though i would mess it up i know not a hole lot about cars and it is pritty easy just have the tools and every thing ready.
