Message: I have a ram van that the transmission is ruined on and has a few other problems and was thinking about swapping the engine 5.9 into my dakota since the van has all the stuff computer, engine mounts, etc, the engine is froma 95 going into 96 dakota. I was wondering if I would have to get another transmission going from the 3.9 to 5.9 or get an adapter or have to rebuild the one the 5.9 used on the van?
