i just bought a lock right for my dakota part#1220 for the 9.25. i want to get a rough est. for how much time it is going to take me to do it. i will be doing it in the driveway with a floor jack and jackstands. i have all the tools i need but i want to know how much time to set aside. i don't care what anyone says time is more important than money.

Two hour's at most, cleaning every thing takes the longest.get alot of clean rags,brake cleaner or carb cleaner(to spray every thing clean inside and out of the diff.)get a good gasket and some sealer(a little will do). dont pinch your fingers! haha

I second the two hours. With my app I needed to use RTV to seal it so that takes aditional time to set up.
