Subject: Flowmaster Question IP: Logged
Message: I've heard that a dual out flowmaster for 2001 4.7L V8 produces lower torque at low speeds...is this true? Also, any pros or cons to this setup?
I think I'm gonna get the 70 series. Thanks!

Message: It has been noted that with duals you will lose torque. Most go with the swept side. Exiting the stock location.

Message: I almost went with the 70 series also. but i had the 50 series on my 2K so i decided to go with the 50 again on my 4.7 quad cab 4x4, 2002 and i love it, plus it is 60.00 cheaper. and there is very little interior noise at cruise speed, around town it sounds like a 60's muscle car. . I am happy with the 50 series.
