Well, my 2000 Club Cab V-6 now has a K&N filter with homebrew pipe and heat shield, a flowmaster muffler, a tonneau, and a 180 thermostat. I can feel a bit more power above 2200 rpm which doesn't happen often where I drive. And my gas mileage went from 19.27 mpg to a whopping 19.30!! Gee, am I glad I spent all that money. LOL

The only thing that helped your mileage was the tonnoue cover. Good investment.

i have the same stuff minus the tunneau and all my power is up past 2200 once it gets there is pulls hard to redline. ive got an auto which may be part of it maybe

I guess I wasn't clear in my original post. The small power gain is ONLY at engine speeds above 2200 rpm, but the kind of driving I do keeps the tach below 2000 most of the time. So with no mileage improvement and little opportunity to exercise the power increase, my mods weren't worth it .
