Message: Im new to the site wondering if anyone has swaped out a mpi 318 into a gen 1 truck,also im using the mopar perf. cam with .487/.482 lift with 1.6 roller rockers, and forged pistons, I was wondering if anyone has done this before, and if they ran into piston to valve clearence? Also if the motor mounts are the same as my 3.9, the look really close , I expect to change tranny mount, please let me know if anybody has in info,thanks.
