MY TRUCK: 02, r/c, 4x2, 4.7, 5speed man, 3.92lsd.
MODS: k+n drop in filter, dynomax race muffler (single exit exhaust), lakeswood trac bars
Spare tire removed, tailgate layed down not removed, 1/2 tank 89oct gas. 75 degrees at track, stock wheels and tires (16" good years)

im looking to get a 14.4 by the end of summer, besides slicks (which i have, just didnt run them yet) what mods should i perform, i was thinking electric cooling fan, and iat adjuster.

Nice, I have the same thing as you but a Patriot Blue SLT+ (but maybe you have that too!). Mine just has an MBRP exhaust, but those are some good numbers. I have to buy a bunch of computer science books, but after that I can buy some more mods..
Keep up the mods. You'll have to hand around, there are quite a few of us RC 2WD 4.7L 5SPD 3.92 LSers here.

I have the same set up, but it's an 01'. It ran 14.9 @ 91mph Bone Stock. It's a second faster in the quarter now...................

I live in Montana, I don't get to see my times, but I did spend much of lastnight dodgeing deer! Not even scared of vehicles, just stand there in the road many of them, rev at them...nothing...!

luckily, the one time i killed Bambi it was with my nissan 240 (could have been the best thing for that car) anyways my truck is a black sport +, how hard is it to switch to a electric cooling fan??

if you go with an elec fan make sure you get the one with the highest cfm rating, i had the 16" fan from auto zone on my v6 and it still overheated.

I was checking my 1/4 and 0-60 times regular, but some spinless, worthless, no good, foul, putrid, mangey, mongeloid, in bred, festering, hemaphrodite stole my dak. I got the truck back but the g-tech in glove compartment is gone. BAASTAADS!
