Message: Im getting a MSD Blaster SS coil for my 94 3.9 Is this a pretty easy hook up? I know there are only two wires to hook up. I wanted to see if you guys had any tips on it.
Thanks

Message: Hey Kris,
What exactly will the Blaster coil do for me if I get one (especially with my current mods)? And what else would I need to add? And if Bob doesn't buy it from ya, how much do you want for it?
Thanks,

Message: It will help a little bit, give you a stronger spark. You could also benefit from a MSD ignition amp....

Message: So how exacly do you wire it?
Is it easy to wire and keep the stock one in place as a spare?

Message: Yeah, you could leave the stock in place. All you have to do is clip 2 wires from the stock coil and put them on the Baster coil. Then connect the coil wire....it would take about 20 minutes. You have to just find a good mounting spot, also depending on where you put it, you might have to extend teh wires some. I mounted mine on the heat shield for my intake....hehe

Message: I just installed mine this weekend with an MSD 6AL, ACCEL brass cap and rotor, MSD 8.5mm wires and Autolite 3923 sparkplugs. I ended up mounting my SS Blaster coil on the heatshield for my intake too.

Message: It is a good idea to reset the PCM. Also, you don't have to regap unless you are running a blower or nitrous....
