My brother told me of a product that
sends your PCM a false signal, splitting the
reference wheel "speed" in half.

If you are doing 100mph, the PCM thinks your
doing 50mph. He told me that it would work
on my dak, he knows a guy who works at
APEXi, and he said it would remove the
limiter.

Anybody heard of this product?

Hey thats cool I'll check it out!
I want to remove my speed limiter I would like to
at least peg the speedo or try to break it.
Ll Blackdak ask if your tires were rated to go that fast well I'll tell you what. My family has
been in the ratail tire business for 23 years now
and you would have to drive 150 mph for 1-2 hours
straight to even break down the sidewall of the lowest speed rated tire.. for z, h, r, rated tires
try 3-4-5 hours of nothing but 150 mph!!!
Speed limiter be gone hell yeh!!!!!

If that speed limiter trick works the way you described it, then how will you know if you are goin faster than the speed limiter since the speedo will not read correctly either.

I dont know, I checked out the site, and it
wasnt very helpful. I was hoping somebody
knew if it could work

Ll Blackdak: My limiter is at 98...not fast
enough, hell with a supercharger, I would hit
my limiter in the 1/4 mile, very embarrassing!

what ive done on every dak that ive owned is when you get to the speed limiter(which mine is at 97mph)
then press tthe gas all the way in and turn the ignition all the way forward and hold it there evrything shutss off except your engine and transmission and your tach stays on as well and you will jus fly i tested mine at that with a buddy of mines corvette and i got to 150 mph i was like holy crap but ne ways try that and tell me what you think its alota fun and doesnt mess ne thing up

On my 01, qc, 4.7, manual, yadda yadda,
was limited @ ~ 118-120

the Superchips raises it, to I don't know, cause once in rural TX, safe, flat, no intersection or other vehicles, I pegged it @ 120+.

I've heard of guys blowing engines missing a shift, or overreving in lower gears doing burnouts; but I've never heard of an engine blowing in a top speed run - where the rpms are usually limited by the truck reaching maximum velocity due to the amount of air it is pushing for the horsepower avilable. Also, a motor with no load on it will let go easier than one that is pushing that kind of load. Have you honestly ever heard of someone with stock gearing blowing their motor that way ? Other disasterous possibilities would come to my mind before that...
