Message: Ok, I have been driving it for a while to get a feel of what happens when I do this and that. Basically, When its cold, it runs a lot better. If I hold the truck in gear and slowly press the pedal down, it seems to want to tear @ss, but as soon as I hit full throttle, it turds out. I would maybe even be willing to bet 3/4 7/8 throttle is better than full. It just seems to pull more. But sometimes this method doesnt even work. it just loses all torque and upper end. gone. The fuel rails feel pretty hot, and the blower hot too. just seems like its blowing really hot air in there. Am I running to rich? WHen I turn the btm timing down, it seems to help. Its currently at 1 as opposed to 1 1/2. still waiting on the blow off valve. any new ideas?

Message: I don't have a supercharger, but I can relate to what your saying. The power band is at the end of 2nd and end or third it seems like. If I press the pedal 3/4th's way down it seems like I accelrate faster etc.. But when I press the pedal all the way down I am sluggish off the line and accelrate slower.

Message: Situation got horrible this morning... after a good 30 minutes of driving, I was in the school parking lot when some dumb girl comes through some empty spots pulling out in front of me. I slam on the brakes, give her the usual finger and pissed off look, except one thing, when I mashed the gas from nearly a stop in a cheap parking lot (gravelish)the tires barely spun, if at all. No tourqe, absolute slug. The reason I complain is the day I got the r/t (stock) I pulled up at school, did some nice donuts and backed into my spot with ease. What the Hell is going on with my truck?

Message: Heller Automotive, Jupiter and 15th, by an old folks home. As much grief as this is causing you, why not disconnect the charger one weekend and see how things go. I dont know if this is something simple to do or not since I don't have one:) But it would definatly answer the question as to what was wrong.

Message: drtswinger, wait till you get your boost bypass valve. I just installed mine, I couldn't believe the change. I had a simular problem but not as bad. I have the 102 valve instead of the 110, simply because I could get the 102 and not the 110. You will come up on boost alot faster, almost immediately. Hope you get yours soon.

Message: drtswinger,
My R/T seems to be having the same problems as yours and I think both our trucks are setup the same, except my FMU is not working (ever since I changed the head gasket and sealed up my intake pan I havent had any pinging)And don't see the need for it right now.
Romp on it when it's cold = bat out of hell
Romp on it when hot = Turd
ease on throttle = sometimes pulls hard some times it doesn't
Are you running the factory PCM?

Message: Lucky you, we have already experienced 101 degree's. My bost bypass valve came in today, and im hooking it up tommorow. I will let you know if it helps. Yea im running the factory pcm, Im wondering if thats the reason. anyways, dont you hate it? that is when your all alone drivin when its cold, romp it, and it runs like it would school an ls1.... but when the chance arrives, its running like you could get out and push it faster. I think Im gonna call powerdyne on this one if the valve doesnt work. its really pissing me off.

Message: Well well well, it seems I have found a solution to my problem. Installed the boost bypass last night.... wahoo. I hit boost so much quicker, almost 1500 rpm quicker, at cruise I hear it pissin the hot air off into the atmosphere. Full throttle that baby closes up and the cool air does its job, and well I might add. 9# pulley goes on tonight, $hit talking to ls1's starts tommorow :)

Message: Drtswinger did you test this after 30 min of driving around in high heat? I mean its pretty cool today in the DFW area. Are you basing this on your morning drive this morning? Drive down 75 and 635 today around 5 in the stop & go traffic then goto some backroad and punch it and see if it holds up.

Message: well i just keep on havin problems. The bypass is doing its job well, but now I have a new problem. I put on the 9# pulley only to get up to a whooping 5#'s. WTF. Something is wrong here. Now I did lose the little key that lines up the pulley and s/c shaft, but I got a new one that holds fine. I dont think the belt is slipping, but it could be. If it slipped a little could I lose that much boost? What else could be wrong. Its the stock air hat, no throttle body spacer. any ideas?

Message: OK I wasn't going to share this but I am so mad. I went to PIR and after 3hrs and really heat soaking my fuel rails .. I got one run in .. for $20. I would have bin happy if I had at least a good run out of it... But NOOOO.... The guy in the other lane was a dakota 4x4 318 and he tried to cut the light, and got the red light. I was watching the red light so I got a 1.44 r/t. then right as I left the line the flippin airhat blew off the s/c. Then I couldn't make out the finnish line (1st time on this track) I backed out early. ended up with a 15.1 et 1/4 @81.2mph. 9.5 1/8 @73.5mph It sucked. I had to vent. sorry
