I have a 4.7 auto with a 360 airintakez and a 40 series flowmaster. I have good throttle response now a nice sound and improved mpg. If I put headers a 70mm TB and a high flow cat on will this improve anything? I don't plan on running nitrous or boost so will this be "too free flowing" and lose around town driving enjoyment? I don't want to do trial and error so any response would be very welcome.

I am not to sure of the headers but the high flow cat and the TB will help I am sure. Look for good improvments all around with big improvments 5000+ RPM.

So the TB and High flow cat won't ruin my around town throttle response? What brand of both have you actually seen good responses from. By the way thank you for the response CW.

The only 70mm TB I know of is the F&B flowmetrics. Get a high flow cat like a carsounds or something of the sort. You will amost certainly gain throttle responce areound town.

You'll have to get a larger intake for the 70mm. The 360 isn't big enough for the 70mm.

I just put a Volant air intake on My 4.7 2002 QC I have a Gibson cat back and Jet II chip.
I don't think the air system added anything I drove it 5 weeks with just the cat back and chip,I'm not sure but the stock air system seems just as strong.
