One thing that I'd do before running off & buying a new set of gears is do a little planning. The main reason most people perform gear-swaps is to recover power lost by the addition of bigger tires. In order to get the best bang-for-the-buck, you need to figure out where your engine's powerband is, and select a gear set that, coupled with your tires, will have you doing your normal driving around within (if not in the lower-end of) the powerband.
Here's a nice little chart to help you out a little:

Hope that helps.

Message: An R/T swap won't work for your truck. R/T's have a 9 1/4 inch differential. I am sure that you have the 8 1/4 size. Be sure you specify that when you order....

Message: I have a set of 3.92 OEM gears that have less than 5k miles on them and look brand new.I'll let them go for $100 plus shipping from Florida.

P.S. As long as your gonna have the gears out, and if you don't already have some kind of limited slip, consider having something like an Auburn or Moroso LSD installed at the same time. It'll save you a ton of $$$ in labor costs.
