Subject: Home Brew Intake IP: Logged
Message: A while ago I saw a posting for someone who had a website with step-by-step instructions and pictures of creating and installing a homebrew intake. I've used the search and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have the link to this page or know where I could find it?

Message: Here is what I did:
1. Bought a K&N cone from summit racing (part # KNN-RE-0810).
2. Bought a 3" 45 degree ABS elbow, 3" ABS pipe (you need under 1 foot) and 2 3" couplings all from Home Depot.
3. Removed stock airbox and hose.
4. Connect the cone to the coupling to the pipe to the 45 to the coupling to the airhat.
It turned out pretty good. I only did it on Monday and I am stil happy with it. I looked at alot of pictures on ebay to help me out with it. Hope that helps a little.
Good Luck,
