Subject: OBD trouble code P0351

Message:
I just got the P0351 trouble code this morning.

"Peak primary circuit current not acheived with maximum dwell time."

I searched the achives and found a post from Bernd that indicated it is caused from not using a Tach Adapter harness with the MSD ignition.

I have had my MSD 6a on for four months without having this (or any other) message. Does anyone know how important this message is? Is engine performance effected? Is there any damage being caused?

I'm tempted to reset the computer and see if it comes back.

Anyone know anything about this??

Thanks

Bill
