Well, I just finished everything last weekend and I have worked out all of the bugs finally. Did the fel pro head gaskets, arp head bolts, fel-pro intake gaskets, new intake bolts, 24# injectors, msd btm is up and running, 160 thermostat. She moves now.. just like old times, except this time without the pinging. For anyone running a blower, I recommend the hypertech 160 thermostat... helps out to a noticable difference. Didnt notice to much from the injectors, although their gain could have been thrown off by the btm timing retard. I was without my truck for a month, and its so good to have it back. Although it scared me after I put it back together. I pulled a wire out a little from the temp. sensors plug clip, and it caused it not to get a reading. This caused my truck to run horrible when it warmed up, and the check engine light to come on. Took me a couple days to figure out it wasn't the sensor.... but she runs like a purebred champ now. Just wanted to share my joy. Wha Hoo!
