when I searched the internet for traction problems and the best ways to make traction, I came across a "4-link setup" and I couldn't understand how it works, or if it can be used on trucks?

A 4 link is a coil spring type of suspension where the rear axle is located by 4 links, two on the top, two on the bottom, that is typically highly adjustable and allows for the instant center to be adjusted. Look on the rear end of dragsters and on many monster trucks for examples.

the willeys was project "wicked willeys" get it right! LOL j/k. that show comes up with the dumbest names.

on the 4-link, they also have a bar that goes from the rearend to the frame called the panhard bar. it keeps the rearend from swaying from side to side.
