Subject: new plugs rough idle IP: Logged
Message: I just changed to 3923's (gapped 0.040)and now it has a rough idle, and the check engine light came on?
Was fine before. The old plugs (stock) were worn (gap 0.046-0.050) and idled smooth.
I going to change the wires just in case I damaged one.
Any suggestions
Jon

Message: I too had a rough idle just after changing plugs...After about 50 miles of driving the engine idles rock solid again...I almost pulled them...Glad I didn't...

Message: Guys, this weekend I changed out my 3923's to Champion Truck Plugs, PN# 3344 and they are awesome so far. The Autolites were giving me a lousy idle at .040 gap, so I changed them. So far, no complaints but we will see...
