Just a quick bit of info. A cheap and easy TB swap for the Jeep/Dakota 2.5L (1996 and up?) is to just swap a stock 4.0L TB for yours. The 4.0L is approx. a 60mm TB vs. the 2.5L's approx. 50mm. Still trying to find out if the 4.0's inj. flow any better than the 2.5's.

Did that mod on my 2.5L and it works. More torque and quicker throttle responce. Cost me $50.00 for the throttle body. Only problem was locating the 4.0 throttle body in the junkards.
