O.k. people try rhis one out, a stock 93 4x4 longbed Dakota w/318, 3.55's, and 103,000mi against a stock 99 F-350 diesel 4-door and 4x4? I know its a dumb comparison but my uncle owns the Ford and claims that if we drag for pink slips, he could waste me. What do you think?

That will be close. Your truck better be running in excellent shape to take on that beast. Those V8 power strokes pack quite a punch. If your truck was the same year with the same perameters you would win handily.

Don't knock the Diesels...granted this one wasn't a Ford...but a Dodge 3500 Diesel (Duallie to boot) ran a 12.8 at the Houston Raceway...with slicks and a few "goodies" under the hood.
Now that's no comparison to a stock Diesel, but don't underestimate them.
