Ok so i go and have a 50 series flowmaster 1 in 2 out, 2.5" all the way out to stock location. Sounds great havent listened to radio much the past 4 days. I have 00 Dakota Quadcab 4.7 . My zero to sixty times went down .8 seconds, man was i pissed off. So i guess i gained horsepower at the expense of torque. If the truck didnt sound so good id have my stck exhaust back on.Would a fresh air intake help me regain some of my lost power? anyone else expirience same problem? any thoughts?

Try it, you have access to a dyno or
something? We have been hearing about 4.7
power loss with dual exhaust for a long time.
Hell even if i dont gain any ponies i enjoy
busting out windows that much.

These engines exhaust flows fairly good stock. If you don't want to lose any power, you have to concentrate on getting more air in before getting air out. I lost bottom end on my truck, but that will soon be fixed!

Airaid, 50 Series Delta Flow Flowmaster, Lund Elite Bed Cover...
Coming soon: Cleaned up factory V8 TB and custom ported intake manifold...

actually torque x rpm / 5252 = hp (or something like that)
