I have 3.92 and I just put on an exhaust that moved quite a bit of of the torque oomph a little higher. I am almost considering 4.11s just to make up for that low end and the MPG doesn't bother me and the RPM isn't too much higher. I would have gone with the 4.56s, but the RPMs were unacceptable in my calculations. I know what you mean, but the 4.7L isn't a low end torque beastie like the 5.9 is, it revs quick, specially with some mods and when it gets a lil more up there is when it starts to fly.
