Well therez a little problem for me, I live in an apt. complex...if the robber dudes come by and see a bottle of nitrous it'll give em an even bigger reason to jack my truck. I thought about maybe behind the drivers seat there is alot of space for a RC it might be big enough for a bottle then just cover it up w/ some work overalls or somethin. if I had a Tunneu (spelling) cover I could hook it up back there I've seen those setups. Then again another draw back to an apt, that cover would make em wanna open it up and see whats under there.

If you are worried about someone jacking your stuff, then

A. tint your windows really dark ( I mean really dark in the back, and as dark as your shop will let you on the sides)

B. Buy a piece of black carptet that they use on speaker boxes and cover the bottle every night (don't attach it to the bottle though). That's what I did whenever I had to park my truck in dallas. If your windows are dark enough, then they would not notice it with the carpet over it.

Yeah but since we've been havin so many cars broken into and actually some stolen, they put up lists around our apt. on what not to do. One of those "not to do's" is don't tint your windows too dark, because if its tinted so dark they can't see it it makes them think your tinting it because you want to hide something valuable OR they'll break it cuz they have no clue whats inside if its too dark.
When I had my 87 5.0 I was so afraid I was gonna get broke into and stolen but I only had the stock stereo in there and you could see that from the outside. But on my POS Ranger I had a kick ass stereo and they busted in that and stole it and the windows were super tinted on that. So apparently if they can see inside and see you don't have anything to steal then they'll move on to find somethin better.
Is my "behind the seat" idea not a good idea or what?

I would go to Ennis but I have a little brother in High School and all his little Ricer buddies and ford ranger buddies like to run there mouth and they hang out overthere and they would just start talking trash and then i would have to smoke them again. I might be there depends if I go to Houston or not this weekend, there is a ford ranger that wants a rematch w/ me, I have more mods now and I know he will be there, so if you see a black ranger with a little hispanic dude in it, smoke him, he hates dakotas.

MikeD- I don't think the bottle will fit behind the seat. I had an RC dak and there was barely room for me and the speaker box for my 8" woofers. Also, Nitrous Express recommends that you point the bottle towards the front of the vehicle. This is so that the liquid stays near the siphon inside the bottle so that you get proper juice when you punch it, though I have seen other people pointing their bottles to the side and stuff. Depending on how tall and how big your body is, you may or may not be able to squeeze it behind there....Also, look into getting a truck tool box that locks instead of a tonneau. You can drill a hole in the tool box for the hose and you can bolt on the box so no one steals it. AND you can lock the box so no one steals the bottle. You can find a good heavy dutty truck box at pep boys or at home depot or lowe's

I got a 48" wide drafting board with Mayline
straight edge (bearing type) flour/
incandescent light setup etc...hydraulic
adjustments....I must be boaring you guys to
death.

still on the drafting board...all custom furniture
(high end) cant really get the feel of the piece
on a computer....hand drawn is much more
personal, clients love the shadows and
artistic touch (hope that didnt sound too gay,
my fiancee wonders sometimes. LOL) and is
exactly what all these stuck up, rich a$$ no
good, waste their money on anything, movie/
hollywood type like.

Drafting by hand is much more satisfying than
computer, I do all my school work, mostly 3D
design, on the comp, but like the hand
drawing much more.

MikeD: you on AutoCAD?

D, I couldn't agree with you more. There's no computer substitute (yet!) for human creativity. I've worked as a free-lance illustrator and although I find the computer an absolutely invaluable tool, my best work has been hand done.

Well of course if you have all the time in the world to make drawings by hand therez no substitute. But if your doin it by hand and have to revise it multiple times w/ all that erasing your gonna wish to God you knew how to on the comp. Yeah I've used AutoCAD 12-2000 & Microstation. I'm usin 14 now.

About that R/T you rode in w/ nitrous would you recommend I get it in mine? I mean I want my truck to last a long time and I don't think nitrous is good for an engine in the long run & run the risk of blowing rings and gaskets or melting your pistons. Great I sound like my dad now.

Oh yeah, for sure. Also, I wish that there was an "undo" command for drawing! I used AutoCad 12 & 13, but it has been a few years now. Also, 3D Studio.
What I really like to do is draw something by hand, scan it in and mess around with it in Photoshop and illustrator. You can do some really cool things with all those layers.
