Message: Well, the the trans went this past Dec, and know I recently did a compression test, since the motor didn't seems normal since my summer joy ride. Well here are the results.
Clyinder
1 165 2 170
3 170 4 90
5 165 6 160
7 155 8 155
I was so mad!!! I shot oil into #4 and it came up to 190, so I know it's the rings. Now, I've been wanting the 360 anyway, does $2600 sound good for a factory spec 360 from 98 (I have a 97)5 yr/100K warranty from ATK, installed? The mechanic said that the intake and something else (he couldn't remember) won't bolt up, but all else will. I thought they were the same? Who's right? I'm going to buy a new PCM anyway and M1 intake, so I'm in a rut again.
Help....

Message: they should bolt up no problem... he must have been thinking of the pre-mags when the 318 and 360 had different heads and manifolds for the 2 bb and 4bb carbs.
