hey, i know yall have probably answered this question a million times but i went through the old threads and just didn't find what i needed. I really want to buy my intake tomarrow(getting impatient) and i can't decide between 360airintakez and intense performance. Anyone who has either one of these please tell me how well they work. I know the intense performance uses the stock lid and was wondering if there is anything i could do about that. I don't know much about the 360 airintakez though. Thanks in advance.

I've got the 360airintakez on my 4.7 and couldn't be happier. I was considering the Z-Tube, but this one was cheaper (same quality), and in two pieces which made it easier to manuever in the engine bay. Love the look, performance, and customer service,,,they had it to me same week I ordered it.
I can't speak for intense performance,,I'm sure it's a quality product,,but if it's the same thing,,and they both come w/K&N's then there won't be a tremendous diff. in performance.
Just my 4.7 cents.

Get the 360. If you hunt enough you'll see a thread that contains text I wrote a week or so ago. My assistant and I did a lot of testing with a 360 and a homebrew. The 360 is a superlative product. The next thing to it is the Z-Tube but I think the bends are a little too much (the air has to travel around acute angles) the 360 bends do not exceed 90 degrees (actually a little less). And the Volant, your just spending an extra $40+ bucks on a CARB sticker....when smog time rolls around, just put your stock boxes back on...it only takes 20 minutes. Don't be lead astray with the idea that black plastic has cooler air than aluminum, they don't. The aluminum may conduct heat more than plastic, but black plastic retains (and absorbs) heat greater than aluminum. The 360 has a special coating in it anyways. 360 is also good for an absolute 15 hp and 15 lbs torque.
