It's nice to hear from someone who still remembers what a nasty engine sounds like.
WOW. "nasty engine". I haven't used that word yet to describe our Dak's yet.

I tell you, when I go to the track and hear the "nasty" small blocks, big blocks (Dodge, Chevy, Ford) it just makes me hard when one of them lopes like that as they idle by.
That's power you can FEEL.

I was just reading more on the specs of our new 4.7
I kind of wonder how much we could push this fine engine and yet keep it dependable.
Could you imagine hearing a rough sounding idle from a Dak drive by you in the parking lot or pull up at the gas pump.

When I had my Mustang (people here really hate that word) I would always get the "what do you have under the hood!?!" when I pulled up to the gas pump with that beast loping like that. It sure sounded like a lot for a little 302 Ford.
