Subject: 3.92 or 4.10 ??? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 Dakota Club Cab with the 4.7 I am currently running a 3.55 with 275/60-15's It pulls hard on top, but lacks bottom. Which is the best gear? I am leaning toward the 4.10; oh yea, I have limited slip and very minor mods.

Message: How hard are those gears to swap out? I may be leaning toward the 3.92 as well (currently running 3.55) but it seems like it would be a beyach to change and would screw gas milage. I am currently running 30X9.5X 15" tires, so my low end sucks. Any info would be helpful and appreciated.

Message: I have an R/T and they come stock w/ 3.92's and there is a guy that posted the RPM speeds of his 4.10's and they were pretty much at the same MPH to RPM range. Seriously I doubt if I swapped out my 3.92's w/ the 4.10's would I be able to tell much difference. If you can get 4.10's at the same price then definately get them, if there is a big range in price you'd do just fine w/ the 3.92
